More Info
Barley futures at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange may have settled higher Friday on some aggressive covering of short positions by commercials, but Thursday's initial barley price announcement did little to help.
Info:
The revised barley futures at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE) are currently trading at a disconnect to the western Canadian cash market, according to market sources who were unsure how the basis levels in the country, relative to the futures, would eventually work out.
